Students will perform a library scavenger hunt by checking out fairy tale/folk tale books out from the library then using the list of literary devices provided to find and record in which every way they please the information they gathered.

Students work together to in a group to complete the scavenger hunt, any groups that finish quickly will help any struggling group

Begin with anticipatory set.
Pass out teacher made scavenger hunt.
This scavenger map will lead you to a special place in the school, where when you find the x marks the spot you will be presented with another scavenger hunt.
Once all students are in the library split students into groups of three.
Once all groups are chosen hand out the second scavenger hunt sheet, which is the list of literary devices.
Explain to students that they will use this list to check out books about fairy tales/folk tales and must find every single literary device in their books.
Take this list and all groups must check out books within in the fairy/folk tale theme. After all devices are found it is up to the group to decide in what media way you would like to present your finding.
Once groups start to finish the scavenger hunt allow them to go to the computer to start there presentations.
Presentations must include
